The Picture of Dorian Gray

Undying physical beauty. Who wants it and who doesn't?

The name Dorian Gray first hit me when I was watching The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in 2003. I liked how Stuart Townsend portrayed the character.

After making some research, Dorian Gray turned out to be a character in a novel by Oscar Wilde entitled The Picture of Dorian Gray. The story first appeared in a magazine in 1890. Mr. Wilde later revised his work until the new version was published in 1891.

There had been several adaptations of Mr. Wilde's work. This coming 2009, Ben Barnes will star as Dorian Gray. He played as Prince Caspian in the movie The Chronicles of Narnia. I think he is charming and really good looking, fit for the role as Dorian Gray.
