One of the Best Times

Yesterday.

I watched Twilight with my dear friend Gie. I met with her in UST in front of our old building. I felt like a misplaced token in a sea of white uniform. I wore a red orange polo shirt and my hair - a freshly colored golden brown. Hahaha. Gie said she found me right away because of my standout color.

Hmmm... about Twilight. There were lots of "kilig moments" and fresh scenes. I had to watch the movie version first before I read the book. I think I prefer it that way and I also recommend it to others who enjoy book-turned-movie stories. Though films provide great visuals and sounds, my mind works better imagining what I read. It gives me the pleasure of being in the scene myself. The book versions don't take short cuts too. The authors spread before the readers expansive details of the story elements. That's why I had to watch first so as not to frustrate myself with story alterations and short cuts.

And oh, in the movie house, I accidentally dipped my thumb in my KFC gravy snack. Hahaha. So much for not wanting to shift my eyes to anything except the screen.

Then we went strolling around. I bought some mango slices in the supermarket for PhP 31.40. The cashier asked if I have 1 peso and 40 cents. I gave her exactly that amount. All of a sudden, Gie laughed silently. Then I realized that I still have my 50 pesos. Hahaha! I turned scarlet red. Naghihintay pa ako ng sukli, di pa pala ako bayad!

It took us some more time before we decided to go home.

Some of the best times in life are those funny moments you share with familiar old faces. ^_^
