Red White Blue

hey! look at us! we were stunning that night! hehehe. i just had a copy of our pics from last sunday's event. held at Elbow Room - Metrowalk, Meralco Ave., Pasig City. our theme was "Red Carpet" - matched with all those cameras busy taking pictures! whew! besides the fun, we were also packed with smiles and poses for the lurking digicams and camcorders around.

left to right: cent, faye, jhen, miani, jill, crizzy. these are some of my coolest friends in school. look at how gorgeous we are. the blue of my top mixed with the light moss green of my inside shirt blended well with the night. faye's sexy red dress fits her simple smile. jhen's earrings matched her short sleeved top. miani's white top shone with her fashionable belt and skirt. jill's white dress flowed with finesse as she posed. crizzy's slightly curled hair went well with her alluring red dress.

Induction Ball 2006

i've been waiting to write something about the induction ball last night. it was fun. i enjoyed the crowd. i loved the place. it was raining outside yet it was warm inside. the drinks hit me fast. i liked the nachos and the macaroons. and most of all, i enjoyed being with my friends. all of 'em!

one thing, i didn't like the part where i was left with the work i was not supposed to do, i was actually doing it as a favor for my friend (she needed her make-up done) but they didn't come back. oh, i won't detail this one anymore.

let me talk about the fun parts. i had a group hug with the boys. i ate with my closest circle of friends. we had our pictures taken around the place. i met my friend's boyfriend. i met my another friend's bestfriend. we enjoyed the presence of our profs on stage. we were all ears for the penguin and i-pod raffle. we got some freebies from the sponsors. all-in-all, it was a flirtless happy night for me. ^_^

A Mexican Movie

i just remember, i've seen this Mexican movie last monday, it was about a lady in her thirty or forty something and her adventures in life. the cinematography and the camera angles were great. the story is like watching and believing what you're seeing then all of a sudden, you'll discover that you believe in something else. that sort of feeling makes this movie interesting. it was produced last 2003, entitled La Hija del Canibal (The Daughter of the Cannibal), but it was given an English title of Lucia Lucia. by the way, the story has nothing to do with cannibals.

Write Your Mind

i like blogs. i love to listen to people, talk to them, read their works, learn from them, love them for what they write, learn to appreciate them for what they are. coz in writing, one gets to know a part of the writer through his thoughts, his ideas, his feelings, his emotions, his fantasies, his dreams, all laid into written words. may it be a good or bad side of his world, still it his world you entered, his world you wondered about. i don't really know why others hate to write, maybe they just can't find the exact words when they write or they simply don't want to make a hardcopy of their mind. well, i remember this line from the movie Big Fish (a very nice movie) - "we're story tellers, both of us. i speak mine out, you write yours down. same thing."

yeah! same thing. people share a part of them when they talk, when they converse, when they chat, just like when the writers, bloggers, and chroniclers put bits of their mind into written words. so if someone doesn't want to write even after several encouragements, converse with him, speak with him, make him share by speaking it out. ^_^

Adorable

very seldom that i find cute guys in Asianovelas. i don't know, i just like this guy's face. so charming. he is Lee Dong Wook from the Korean tv series My Girl. he was born in November 6, 1981. his eyes hide most of his emotions. his lips are as soft and as pink as that of a rose petal. well, i could actually say a lot about what i think of this guy but that's only according to how he portrays his character in My Girl. still, he got the looks.

Nomination Scene

let me start it this way...

a class election for class representative in a pageant is being held, the guys are noisy, all are excited, others conspire, then one of the nominees shouted a foul word and, like what others call it, made a scene. a very unexpected event.

i shall give comments and shall mention no names here.

however, due to the eye-straining look of this entry, i decided to delete the succeeding parts (my comments are too long). whoever wants to read the detailed story, just leave your name and email in the comments section. then i'll try to send it or post it here for some time.

my comments include:
  • the class side
  • 'her' side
  • my part

Hate

recently, i've been having this feeling of hating things in my school: the lack of materials, the suffocating classroom, the very limited space in our laboratory, the maintenance of lockers, and the mess from the previous campaign.

the lack of materials:
well, i am referring to the cables in our lab. it's already July, and we're already in the 5th week of the class, and yet there are still no enough cables (whatever its technical name is) in our lab. there's even this idea of buying the cable ourselves so we can perform the experiments. the buying-idea is voluntary though. but that's not my point, we've paid for the lab fee, days come and go, and still no enough cables for us to use? duh! talk about "center of excellence"!

the suffocating classroom:
i am referring to the malfunctioning aircon in our room. but that's already fixed now.

the very limited space in our laboratory:
the issue here is, we've been sharing a room which not all students can comfortably listen to the discussion in front. yeah, a discussion, a demo to be exact. ask those who were at the back if they understand anything being discussed in front, you will probably get only one answer, "none". imagine a discussion where students are behind the towering monitors and cpus, where the demo instruments are obviously out of sight, where the teaching strategy about a topic is evidently not working, damn! why don't we just use a real classroom where all can actually see the instrument in front instead of a laboratory? a real classroom where there are no hindrances which blocks our line of sight? after all, what we do in the laboratory now are just demonstrations, not experiments. if one is going to throw me a line that the laboratory equipments are not to be taken out and be used in another room, i know a professor who does take out equipments and shows us a demo of the lecture. this only proves that we can actually take the equipments with us and have the demo in a classroom than in a laboratory.

the maintenance of lockers:
imagine the broken doors, the staple wires, the scratch papers, the masking tapes. i guess the word maintenance has changed its meaning huh?

the mess from previous campaign:
well, i am referring to the mess left in locker no.75, left side of the 2nd floor faculty room. i am not going to tell which party owns those stickers and other stuffs for the campaign, but the mess, very unacceptable! this paragraph goes hand in hand with the locker issue above. nobody cares to clean up. the one in charge for the locker maintenance obviously didn't do their part. the one who previously owned the locker obviously didn't care. and i believe that the previous owner/s was/were one of the running parties last sem. the mess, the stuffs, the stickers, everything points to their party. talk about "responsibilities" huh!?

Paghaharap

Tell Again

i am going to tell again, oh yes i am
nothing can stop me, nothing can
tears might flow, smile might show
follow me to where i go

feel my words, feel them now
make your world turn around
let me take you in my mind
explore my deeper thoughts in time

today my ink will flourish
will greatly touch you and many
even blots will make you think
is this real or fantasy?
