Brisingr Released

The wait is over. Brisingr by Christopher Paolini is here! Released as scheduled. It is the third book of the Inheritance Cycle. I just bought my own copy yesterday afternoon.

The Inheritance Cycle was intended to be a trilogy but then Mr. Paolini thought of dividing the third book into two. So that means I have to wait for another book.

Hmm, now I remember Marvin D. He was my classmate in college. He also likes this book series. ^_^

Mud Splash

The day before yesterday, on my way to Tutuban Mall, I saw this vehicle speeding up and it was about to overtake me. I was right beside a small pool of mud and before I know it, the vehicle overtook me, it hit the pool of mud and splashed the dirt on my pants and legs. Though my short pants was black, you can still distinguish the patches of mud on it. Instinctively, I turned my head to look back at the vehicle. It was a government vehicle. Red plate number SGH 785. It was even swerving and overtaking jeeps on the road. I wonder who was using that vehicle by that time.

Manila Ocean Park

It's time to visit an oceanarium near my place. I live just around 3.15 kilometers away from it.

Manila Ocean Park is located behind the Quirino Grandstand Luneta, Manila, Philippines. We toured the entire oceanarium for almost two hours. Don't forget to ask for a map just after you give your ticket. Uhm, you won't get lost inside anyway. Just enjoy the view and take time to visit each aquarium.

I'd like to post all pictures that I have taken but that would spoil your future visit at the Manila Ocean Park. Cameras are allowed but flash feature must be turned off so some of my pictures need editing. You might want to check out their souvenir shop too, very affordable stuffs.

Don't Argue, Just Feel

Nais mo bang malaman kung kailan ka mamamatay?

Naisip ko lang, mas maganda nga na malaman kung hanggang kailan na lang ang buhay natin. Tutal eh doon naman talaga tayo pupunta, okay na rin na maipaalam kung kailan tayo papanaw. Sa ganitong paraan, magagamit natin ang ating oras nang ayon sa gusto natin; sa mga bagay na gusto nating unahing gawin o subukan. Mas magiging mahalaga ang oras natin para gumawa, sumubok, at kumilos, hindi dahil dapat kundi dahil ito ang gusto nating gawin. Maihahanda rin natin ang ating loob at ating mga habilin. Maiaayos natin ang mga bagay na maiiwan natin sa ating pag-alis sa mundo. Hindi na maaabala pa ang mga taong nakapaligid sa atin nang dahil sa hindi nila alam ang gagawin sa mga maiiwan natin. Kaysa naman bigla ka na lang naaksidente o di kaya'y biglang nagkasakit tapos natuluyan din. Kumbaga nga sa project, alam mo kung kailan ka gagawa ng kung ano man ang dapat mong gawin dahil may due date ka.

Maaaring marami ang tumutol sa sinabi kong ito. Mahabang paliwanagan din ang mangyayari kung sakali. Pero naisulat ko ito dahil sa pagkawala ng mom ko. So noong graduation ko nung elementary, 10 years na lang pala sya. Ibig sabihin, noong 2nd year college ako, eh 5 years na lang sya dito. By the time na grumaduate ako ng college eh wala nang isang taon ang buhay nya. By the time na nagsimula ang review for the board, months na lang kami magsasama. Pero hindi namin ito alam. Clueless. We all know death will come, pero di natin lahat alam kung kailan.

Eh di sana nag-early retirement na lang sya. Sana mas madalas kaming namasyal. Marami pa sana kaming napuntahang lugar. Ni hindi na nga sya nakapunta ng SM Mall of Asia. Gusto din sana nyang pumunta ng Malabon Zoo. Promise ko pa naman na magtu-tour kami sa Japan, sa Korea, sa US, at sa iba pa. Sana yun muna ang ginawa ko o inuna ko kaysa ang mag-review for board. Sana sa kanya ko muna ibinigay ang lahat ng oras ko kaysa sa mga bagay na kahit iwan mo ay mananatiling nandyan lang. Sana mas marami pa kaming nasubukang gawin kaysa sa magtrabaho lang at mag-aral. Lahat ng ito ay mananatiling sana dahil nga hindi namin alam kung hanggang kailan lang ang buhay nya. Until it's too late.

Dapat talaga, live each day like it would be your last. Tingin ko may advantage talaga kung malalaman mo ang life span mo.
